For an album which is as harsh and pummeling as One Master’s
Lycanthropic Burrowing is, it’s surprisingly well put together sound
wise, you can hear all aspects and nothing really drowns anything else
out. That said this is chore to listen to, never once does it let
down, and the sonic wall could easily get the best of a lesser person.
Think older era Krieg mix in some Ash Pool and you’re starting to
get the idea. Don’t expect to like this album on the first listen, it
takes a few times around the turntable to really hear it properly.
